Leavening Play Area is a village resource, which was originally built in the 1990’s. It was refurbished approximately five years ago. The original play area was created by the Village Welfare Fund and parents of children who were then of an age to use it.

The land on which the play area is built on is owned by NYCC, but the Parish Council are responsible for the liability insurance and the management of the play area.
