Location

Leavening is located in the county of North Yorkshire, England and is 17 road miles to the Northwest of York or 6 miles Southeast of Malton. So we are with in easy reach to a wonderful historical city and a interesting and useful market town. It is necessary that you have suitable transport, as the nearest rail station is Malton. There is a bus which runs four days a week to Malton and once a week to York.

Leavening is also less than 30 miles to the East Coast and the seaside towns of Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington. further away but still less than an hour drive is; to the Northwest Whitby and the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and to the south-east the Cathedral town of Beverly and to the south Selby with its wonderful Abbey.
