The Jolly Farmers Inn. The pub is well known for its real ale and food. It has games/family room, restaurant, and beer terrace. Tel. 01653 658276
Leavening School. As well as local children, the school is also responsible for many nearby villages. Head teacher: Mrs M Mellor. Tel. 01653 658313
Methodist School Room. Leavening Play Group and U4G are amongst some of the regular users of the Hall Steward: Karen Ward 01759 380457
Leavening Play Area. Adjacent to the school, but behind the car park, the play area is a little hidden. However it has been refurbished in recent years.
The picnic site is situated atop Leavening Brow on the Birdsall Rd. It has a car park and wonderful views.
